Gliniana kula studio provides fun and active pottery programs for the classroom. Working in clay is a creative activity for children. Classes in ceramics form an integral part of the artistic curriculum  in many European countries.
Clay is a wonderful, tactile medium that many children have never experienced before.  Its three dimensional nature forces them to think about structure, shapes and forms. Clay forming helps to develop fine manual  and motor skills, increases visual perception, gives the young artists an opportunity to unleash their artistic imagination.
During our classes, participants are introduced into the basic aspects of working with clay:
- clay as an art material,
- basic hand-building techinques: slab, pinch, coil.
- throwing on the pottery wheel (depending on children's age),
- sculpting in clay,
- glaze application techniques,
- ceramic painting,
- painting with slips.
The fnal products, fired and glazed, return to their proud authors.
We are working also with aduls in our studio. You can visit as and spend wonderful time learning many modelling techniques, throwing on wheel or glazing your own works.
